WOW! What a great running season Meiklejohn had this year. We are so proud of everyone that participated in Mileage Club. This year the school ran a total of 3,657 MILES!!! Way to go!

The Plant and Garden Show was a huge success! Thank you for taking home plants and seeds and spreading the love of gardening to your homes.

Mother Nature is back on track and so is the school garden! Please join us for our second Plant and Garden Show this Friday during Field Day. We will have free seedlings to giveaway as well as seed packets. Come check us out!

Meiklejohn offers the EduKit program as an option for our busy families to order supplies for the upcoming school year. The program is a time saving, simple way for you to ensure that your student has exactly the correct supplies needed to start the year off right. Avoid the back-to-school rush and going from store to store to get all of the required items. EduKit will take care of that for you.

Order by June 10th for the “Early Bird” discount and free shipping. Your child’s EduKit can be picked up at Registration in August.
To order:
1. Go to www.edukitinc.com.
2. Type “Al Meiklejohn” into the “Find Your School” field.
3. Pay online through EduKit’s secure website.

Year End Restaurant Benefit at Bliss Frozen Yogurt

Join us Thursday May 23, 2013 for our year end restaurant benefit at ***Bliss* *Frozen Yogurt*** in Arvada. Bliss is a self serve frozen yogurt bar with tons of fantastic toppings. They will donate a portion of the proceeds from Meiklejohn families who attend this event. So come celebrate the final days of school with a cool treat! Bliss is located at 11651 W. 64th Avenue (corner of Simms/64th Ave). Don’t forget to mention Meiklejohn at the cashier (no flyer needed). Bliss is open noon to 10pm. See you there!

Mileage Club – End of the Year FUN!
Mileage Club is almost over. We have had an amazing year of running. Here are some important dates to remember.

Monday, May 13th : Our last special charm day of the year! We have a new charm for kids this year. It is a SUN charm and it’s super cool. Students just need to run, walk or chase each other four laps around the course to earn the sun charm.

Thursday, May 16th: Our last day of Mileage Club for the year.

Thursday, May 23rd: Mileage Club Popsicle Party! All students who have run at least 1 lap this year during Mileage Club get a tasty frozen treat for a job well done during lunch recess!
